Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the QuickDoor mobile application or website (https://quickdoor.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our platform.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

QuickDoor is an on-demand home services platform that connects customers ("Customers") with independent service professionals ("Providers"). QuickDoor acts as an intermediary marketplace and is not itself a service provider.

Services available on the platform include, but are not limited to: plumbing, electrical work, cleaning, appliance repair, carpentry, and other home maintenance services.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use QuickDoor.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted.

4. Account Registration

Accounts are created using your mobile phone number and verified via OTP (one-time password). You agree to:

  • Provide accurate name, contact details, and service address.
  • Keep your account information up to date.
  • Not share your account credentials with others.
  • Notify us immediately at quickdoor.in@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Bookings and Service Requests

5.1 Placing a Booking

When you request a service through QuickDoor, you are making an offer to engage a Provider for that service at the listed price (or "as per requirement" for variable-price services). A booking is confirmed only once a Provider accepts your request.

5.2 Scheduled vs. Instant Bookings

  • Scheduled bookings allow you to select a date and time slot in advance.
  • Instant bookings (where available) are fulfilled on priority at a premium price (approximately 2× the base price).

5.3 Price-on-Request Services

Some services are listed as "As Per Requirement." For these, the final price is agreed directly between you and the assigned Provider based on the scope of work before the job begins.

5.4 Cancellations

You may cancel a booking before a Provider has been assigned at no charge. Cancellations after Provider assignment may be subject to a cancellation fee as communicated in the app. Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.

6. Payment Terms

  • QuickDoor currently supports cash on delivery only. Payment is made directly to the Provider upon completion of the service.
  • We do not collect, store, or process any card or banking information.
  • Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • QuickDoor reserves the right to introduce additional payment methods in the future.

7. Promotions and Coupons

QuickDoor may offer promotional discounts (e.g., ₹50 off your first booking). These offers are:

  • Linked to your registered phone number and valid for a single use unless stated otherwise.
  • Non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Subject to validity periods and minimum booking value requirements.
  • Subject to change or withdrawal at QuickDoor's discretion.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate service address and be available at the time of the booking.
  • Ensure safe access to your property for the assigned Provider.
  • Treat Providers with respect. Abusive, threatening, or harassing behaviour is grounds for immediate account termination.
  • Do not attempt to engage Providers for services outside the QuickDoor platform to circumvent fees.

9. Provider Responsibilities

Providers on the QuickDoor platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate professional information, skills, and identification during onboarding.
  • Arrive at the confirmed time and location, and complete services to a professional standard.
  • Maintain appropriate tools, skills, and any required licences for the services they offer.
  • Treat Customers with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Not solicit Customers for off-platform work.

Providers are independent contractors and not employees of QuickDoor. QuickDoor does not guarantee a minimum volume of bookings.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from our platform.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of our systems.
  • Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or defamatory content.
  • Create fake bookings or reviews.

11. Ratings and Reviews

After a booking is completed, both Customers and Providers may leave ratings and reviews. These must be honest and based on actual experience. QuickDoor reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our content guidelines or appear fraudulent.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the QuickDoor platform — including the logo, app design, text, and graphics — is the property of QuickDoor and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

QuickDoor provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
  • A Provider will be available for every service request.
  • The quality of services rendered by Providers will meet your expectations.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuickDoor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to damage to property, personal injury, or loss of data.

QuickDoor's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking (if any).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuickDoor, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

16. Termination

QuickDoor may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at quickdoor.in@gmail.com.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
